A New Year

Hello all!

As you have probably noticed, this site has been slightly inactive since last fall, and by slightly, I mean completely. The project started as an idea for a poster presentation I was required to give to complete the University of Iowa’s  School of Library and Information Science program. After that presentation, I got so wrapped up in finals, graduation, and the holiday season, I had to put the site on hold.

Now that life is slightly calmer, I would really like to start posting again. I probably won’t be able to update almost every week like I attempted last fall, but I do hope to at least post monthly, if not every other week. We’ll see how it goes.

I want to thank you for following the site, even when it was on hiatus, and I hope to feature some really cool libraries and librarians going forward! If you have any library requests, please let me know. I’m always on the lookout for fun libraries to visit and awesome people to talk to. Hopefully I’ll have a new week of posts going up soon.

In the meantime, I wanted to share the podcast B-Sides with you! This particular episode is about the “At Your Local Library” website and was a pleasure to record. Thank you so much Katie, Bethany, and Lindsay for having me on the show! Please check out their other episodes and keep an eye out for updates on this site.

Thanks!

Rachel Black
